By accessing or using CareLink (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
CareLink is a marketplace platform that connects care receivers with caregivers. The Platform serves as an intermediary and does not provide medical, nursing, or professional care services directly.
All communication between caregivers and care receivers is mediated exclusively through the CareLink agency. Users may not exchange personal contact information directly.
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent the agency-mediated communication system
- Not post false, misleading, or harmful content
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Agency Role and Limitations
CareLink acts solely as a marketplace intermediary. We do not:
- Employ, supervise, or direct caregivers
- Guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any caregiver
- Provide medical, nursing, or professional advice
- Conduct background checks or verify credentials (we recommend users conduct their own due diligence)
- Guarantee any match or connection
6. Limitation of Liability
CareLink is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
7. Mediation
In the event of a dispute between users, CareLink may, at its discretion, assist in mediation. Users agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes through the Platform before pursuing other remedies.
8. Account Termination
CareLink reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion. Users may delete their accounts at any time by contacting us.
9. Photo Upload Guidelines
By uploading photos to the Platform, you confirm that you have the right to share the image and that it does not violate any third-party rights. Photos must be appropriate and not contain offensive, explicit, or misleading content.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
